However, having been dry for a month, Kashmir saw its first snowfall of the season on Monday.

Season’s First Snowfall In Kashmir

Kashmir experienced its first snowfall of the season, with higher reaches receiving snow and plains receiving rain. This marked the arrival of winter, with a significant drop in temperatures. While Srinagar and other plain areas saw rain, other mountainous parts of Kashmir saw several inches of snow accumulate, with the majority of the snowfall occurring in popular tourist sites like Gulmarg and Sonamarg. Take a look at snow-covered Kashmir.

The northern region of the country also experiences a new, chilly breeze as winter approaches. It is also reasonable to assume that in other northern regions of India, the temperature level would rapidly drop.
