This Sunday, Curly Tales was back at the beautiful Kapoor house in Bandra with none other than the gorgeous Khushi Kapoor! Our Editor-in-Chief Kamiya Jani got to enjoy an elaborate home-cooked meal and talked about everything from her love life and family dynamics to food. During the fun conversation, we asked Khushi about her favourite street food and surprisingly she had a very controversial take on Mumbai’s beloved vada pav! Here’s what she had to say.
Khushi Kapoor Is Not A Vada Pav Person!
Khushi Kapoor was born and raised in Mumbai. So, we had to ask her about her favourite street food in the city! She promptly replied that pani puri is her all-time favourite street food. She recalled how her father used to take her for pani puri outings to Chandru’s in Mumbai and she enjoyed devouring her favourite street food while seated in a car.
“I have never been a vada pav person. Controversial opinion, but I don’t like vada pav,” she quickly followed after confessing her love for pani puri! She does, however, love pav bhaji and misal pav. She also mentioned that while studying at École Mondiale World School in Juhu, she and her friends used to check out all the food stalls outside. They would often stop by and enjoy pani puris and dosas there.

A Delicious Sunday Brunch At The Kapoor House
After Janhvi made Kamiya try chicken curry with idli last time, she was surely prepared to try something quirky this time as well! And Khushi Kapoor did not disappoint! She suggested trying pav bhaji’s bhaji with paratha and surprisingly, the combination went quite well together. Besides that, the Sunday Brunch menu consisted of all of Khushi’s favourite food. The elaborate menu had dishes like Brown Rice, Salmon Fish Curry, Beetroot Sabzi, Chicken Keema, Dal, Palak Paneer, Jowar Paratha, and Appam with Coconut Milk. The food was spicy and absolutely delicious!
