King Mumbai

Our latest episode of Tere Gully Mein was not an ordinary one; it was one where we met with none other than the rising and shining singer, songwriter, and rapper, King, and cruised around Mumbai with him in Honda Elevate Signature Black. Our Editor-in-Chief, Kamiya Jani, met with him for a drive around Mumbai, and then finally a delicious lunch at Carnival by Tresind. In this episode, we learnt a lot about his love for music, his philosophy when it comes to writing songs, his inspiration and a lot more. To learn all about how it went, watch the full video on the Curly Tales YouTube channel.

We Played ‘Never Have I Ever’ With King

After an amazing drive around Mumbai with King, learning all about his journey to becoming a musician, his fondness for Mumbai and his favourite hangout spots in Delhi, it was finally time to indulge in a delicious meal. We took him to Carnival by Tresind, an amazing restaurant in Santa Cruz. As soon as the food was served, King was clearly excited to try everything.

While we enjoyed some delicious fare, we also played ‘Never Have I Ever’ with him. This game wasn’t just fun but also really insightful. First, we asked King if he had ever skipped an event because he was feeling lazy. Sincere towards his work and commitments, he revealed that he hasn’t. Next, we asked him if he had ever written a song while travelling. Guess what? He has written not one but two songs while he was travelling. King revealed that he wrote Shaamein on a plane and the Red Bull one while travelling.

Continuing the fun game, we asked King if he had ever accidently sent a wrong text message to someone. He revealed that he is not a big texter so that doesn’t happen to him. Next, we asked him if he had ever messed up the lyrics while singing live. With utmost humility, King shared that he believes apart from Sunidhi Chauhan and Arijit Singh, there is no one in the world who hasn’t messed up while performing live.

We also asked him if has ever taken advantage of his popularity by skipping queues. He shared that he often gets these advantages but never asks for them. In fact, it makes him feel embarrassed.

Next in the episode, King shared all about his future plans. To know all about it, watch the full video on the Curly Tales YouTube channel.
