Raj Thackeray Still Has Stage Fright

Raj Thackeray is widely regarded as an exceptional orator. He definitely surprised us by admitting that he struggles with stage fright. Given his commanding presence at massive rallies, we certainly found it hard to believe. He shared all about the pre-speech jitters he gets and revealed that cold sweats and shaky limbs are part of his ritual before addressing an audience. 

Despite the struggle, his speeches are legendary and we were curious to know if he had any tips for public speakers. He highlighted the importance of voice modulation, mic technique, and understanding the audience’s mindset. He advises speakers to maintain a measured distance from the microphone and avoid shouting.

The conversation then shifted to Raj Thackeray’s deep love for Maharashtra and its rich heritage. He passionately spoke about the cultural values ingrained in every Maharashtrian. His pride in Maharashtrian culture was clear when he recounted stories of how Maharashtrian cuisine, like Amti, had influenced other regional dishes, with Sambar being a prime example.

Raj Thackeray also opened up about his upbringing and family values he got from his father and the legendary Bala Saheb Thackeray. He reflected on how his father’s approach of giving freedom and guidance shaped his perspective on life and politics. During the conversation, Raj Thackeray shared his deep sense of pride in his Marathi heritage and his vision for Maharashtra’s future. He asserts that understanding and honouring one’s cultural roots is essential for personal growth and the betterment of society.
