The operations to control the massive fire at the ice cream factory in Kolkata are still underway. While talking to Lokmat Times, a fire officer said that the presence of inflammable material inside the factory contributed to the rapid spread of fire. They also reported a few explosions inside the factory.

There are homes and several other warehouses around the factory. Because of this, the authorities had to cut down the power supply as a precautionary measure. It is also causing additional issues for the fire tenders to control the fire as they have to be mindful of the surroundings as well.

Thankfully, there have been no casualties or injuries during this entire ordeal! We hope the firefighters are able to control the fire soon and restore normalcy in the area.
