Netizens Are Reacting To ‘No Metros’ On Sundays
Kolkatans are not that happy with the timings of the new metro lines. Though there is some excitement among passengers to travel on the new routes, not everyone is pleased with the timings, especially with no services on the weekends. Except for the Howrah Maidan to Esplanade stretch of the Green line, none of these new services will operate on Saturdays. Also, all three are not running on Sundays as of now. This is how Netizens are responding to the timings of the last services and no metros on Sundays.
I don’t understand why we don’t offer metro services on Sunday in Kolkata(new lines)?

Running metro upto 4.40pm in orangeline is just a big joke & bogus decision, peak period of this stretch is frm 7.30am-11am & frm 5.30pm-8pm,u r just going to run the metros during lean period (11am-4.40pm) incurring losses only, kindly extend the timings upto 9pm @AshwiniVaishnaw
