A video which has gone viral in a short span of time shows an owner of a famous Kachori shop in Kolkata abusing a customer. It so happened that the customer asked the owner to maintain cleanliness at his shop. Having lost his cool, the owner showers a stream of expletives directed at the customer. Kolkatans would know that while Chhangani Club Kachori is known for its delish kachori and Aloo sabzi what it’s also known for is its owner, Lali Chhangani’s demeanour. The kachori shop owner earlier was seen getting irritable with a food vlogger. This time, the Chhangani Club Kachori is seen outright abusing a customer, requesting cleanliness in the shop. The Internet is filled with videos of Lali— also a social media personality — serving kachoris to customers from his unhygienically kept shop.
In the video, the kachori shop owner from West Kolkata is seen angrily shouting expletives at the customer. The owner often seems agitated in the videos. This time, Lali Chhangani totally lost his cool and called the customer “son of a pig”. The customer earlier asked him to maintain cleanliness at his shop. The Chhangani Club Kachori points his index finger at the customer while abusing him. And even gets up for perhaps a physical altercation. By then other customers try to diffuse the heated situation. They pull the customer away and make him leave the area to avoid escalating the issue.

Netizens Have Mixed Reactions
The viral video garnered over 583k views and 561 comments till now. While some Netizens slammed the kachori shop owner for his behaviour others criticised the food vlogger for disturbing the shop owner. One X user demanded the owner to be booked for serving unhygienic food. Another said his behaviour is inexcusable.

Stop disturbing someone while he is doing his business, most of the time he is cooperative with these vloggers but I am sure this extreme reaction is probably a result of some unusual behavior of the vlogger.

However, some Netizens empathised Lali Chhangani for being hounded and disturbed by food bloggers. Having visited his shop, one X user said he came across as a pleasant, smiling man. Another observed that Lali often got irritated by food vloggers giving unsolicited advice.

No he is not abusive towards his customers, he gets irritated with the bloggers who keep giving instructions to him do this that just because they are making video, he never invited any blogger to make video of his shop, so it’s not his fault
