The ‘Killer’ duo, Konkona Sen and Manoj Bajpayee, from Netflix’s ‘Killer Soup’, joined our Editor-in-Chief, Kamiya Jani, for an exciting episode of Sunday Brunch. This talented duo set the OTT platform on fire with this epic thriller series. This episode involved a lot of food and revelations about our guests’ choices. And yes, we began our meal with a delectable soup to set the mood for the rest of the scrumptious meal on this episode of Sunday Brunch.

What Dishes Can Konkona Sen Cook?

A scrumptious spread of pan-Asian food from Foo and typical, authentic Bengali food from The Calcutta Club was served in front of us. The robust flavours and aromas of biryani, kosha mangsho, dim sums, and more filled the space and everyone couldn’t wait to dig in! While Konkona served the Bengali-style biryani to her co-star Manoj, she spoke about the importance of boiled potatoes and eggs in this dish.

The way she explained it made us curious if she was into cooking as much as Manoj. Konkona replied, “Main thoda bohot cook karti hoon, nothing like Manoj.” She even praised Manoj’s cooking skills and shared how he whipped up mouthwatering non-vegetarian dishes on the sets of ‘Killer Soup’.

Manoj, on the other hand, pulled her leg by saying, “Main thoda bohot cook karti hoon aur bohot sara order karti hoon.” This made everyone laugh out loud. Konkona also got defensive of her cooking skills. She told us that she could cook basic chicken curry, yellow daal, bhindi, gobi, rice and other simple dishes.
