Content creator Kim Jaehyeon recently prepared chai for his girlfriend and fellow content creator Piyusha Patil’s parents. And the result? A mushy reel that seems straight out of an Indian TV soap meets K-drama scene. Check it out!

In the viral reel posted by the content creators on Instagram, Kim Jaehyeon is seen preparing chai from scratch while Piyusha’s mother helps him. He sweetly explains to his fans in English and Marathi about the steps involved in preparing chaa or chai. From lighting the gas to pouring the right ratios of milk and water, the Korean man follows the steps with precision while Piyusha’s mother sweetly supervises him, amused by his dedication.

“Doodh ko ubhalo” ( Boil the milk), says Jaehyeon in impressive Hindi. While he prepares chai, Aunty compliments him and says, “Very nice”. The Korean man adds big pieces of ginger, two spoons of tea powder and three spoons of sugar. Later, he sprinkles some cardamom powder. “Pappa chai is ready,” announces Jaehyeon as he lovingly serves his desi girlfriend’s parents. He also serves them biscuits with the chai.

Netizens Say He Will Be The Best Son-In-Law

So, what are his future mom-in-law and father-in-law’s reactions? Well, Piyusha’s mom lauded him for his chai-making skills and said, “Really very nice”. She said it takes just like how she would make it. Uncle complimented him on the perfect colour of the tea and gave a big smile.

It isn’t a surprise that desi Instagrammers swooned in the comments section. One person even asked how one can get a Korean boyfriend. Another joked how the Indian government would never reject his visa after seeing this reel. Others predicted that he would be the best son-in-law. From praising him for his Marathi and Hindi pronunciations to his kind demeanour, Netizens had a field day!
