Anushka Sen, known for her stellar performances in TV shows Jhansi Ki Rani and Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi was our latest guest on Tere Gully Mein. Anushka Sen Says, “Koreans Love Indian Food, Shah Rukh Khan & Our Movies”
While chatting with us and feasting on Korean delicacies like Gochujang Dosa, sweet crushed iced Bingsus and Korean Ramen, Anushka Sen revealed India’s perception in Korea. Sen revealed that while talking to South Koreans she realised that they love India, especially Indian food. In her words, South Koreans love gorging on Garlic Naan and Butter Chicken, dishes commonly found in the nation. “They love our food. They love Shah Rukh Khan and our movies,” she says.
We asked what perception about India she would like to change amongst South Koreans. Instead, Anushka Sen wanted to change one perception that Indians have about South Korea— there are less vegetarian, vegan and Jain food options. She refuted this perspective, “That’s not the case. You can find it right now. There are places you can find vegetarian food,” says Sen.
