Kerala’s Kozhikode Railway Station is one of the largest railway stations in the state. Also known as Calicut Railway Station, it is one of Kerala’s busiest railway stations. It offers trains to major Indian cities including Thiruvananthapuram, Chennai, Bengaluru, New Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Hyderabad, Coimbatore, and others. Recently, the station has been praised and received certificates for its excellence and services.
Kozhikode Railway Station Received FSSAI & TCCPL Certificates!
For their outstanding performance and service, Kozhikode Railway Station was awarded certification by Trans Continental Certifications Pvt Ltd (TCCPL) and Food Safety and Standards of India (FSSAI).
The railway station was awarded an “Eat Right Station” certification by the FSSAI for maintaining the required levels of food storage and hygiene. The station also earned a TCCPL certificate for adequate maintenance, hygienic practices, cleanliness, and service.
The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) grants the “Eat Right Station” certificate to railway stations that set the bar for serving passengers healthy and safe food. Upon completion of a third-party audit agency’s evaluation of the station with scores ranging from 1 to 5, the station is given a certificate. The certification is part of the “Eat Right India” programme.
