The Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) released a press release about additonal buses. It stated that special transportation arrangements for extra vehicles will be made during the Gowri Ganesha festival for the convenience of commuters on September 15, 16, and 17. On September 18, special cars will be driven from various locations within the state and throughout the nation to Bangalore.

The press release stated that special transport arrangements for 1200 additional buses will be made by KSRTC. The transport will be from Kempegowda Bus Stand to Dharmasthala, Kukkesubramanya, Hassan, Shimoga, Mangalore, Sringeri, Kundapur, Horanadu, Davangere, Hubli, Dharwad, Belgaum, Vijayapur, Gokarna, Shirsi, Raichur, Karwar, Kalaburgi, Bellary, Koppala, Yadgir, Bidar and Tirupati.

From the Mysore Road Bus Station, special operations will be offered to locations like Vijayawada, Hyderabad, etc. Additionally, they will travel in the direction of Mysore, Hunsur, Piriyapatnam, Virajpet, Kushalnagar, and Madikeri. Prestigious transport services to Tamil Nadu and Kerala will be run out of the Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation Bus Stand at Shantinagar.

It will include those to Madurai, Kumbakonam, Chennai, Coimbatore, Trichy, Palakkad, Thrissur, Ernakulam, Calicut, etc. For the convenience of public travellers, advance seat reservation options for extra transport have been made available.

Before going to the bus stops, passengers are urged to note the name of the bus stop or pickup point that is listed on their pre-booked tickets. You can purchase electronic tickets by visiting their official website. Through 691 online booking counters spread throughout the state of Karnataka and interstate, general travellers can reserve tickets in advance.

If four or more people purchase a ticket in advance together, they will receive a 5 per cent discount. If they purchase an outbound and return ticket at the same time, they will receive a 10 per cent reduction on the incoming fee.
According to the statement, tickets can also be reserved in advance for corporate transportation at counters located in major cities in surrounding states. It includes Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Kerala, Puducherry, Goa and Maharashtra.
