This true-blue Bhopali took us to legendary restaurants and cafes, popular hangout spots, and treated us to scenic lake views, among other things. He even shared his favourite dating spots in Bhopal. Curious to know where he used to go on dates? Read on to find out.
Kullu’s Go-To Spots In Bhopal Are…
The City of Lakes, Bhopal, holds a special place in Kullu’s heart. He had spent his entire life there before moving to Mumbai for work. He knows every local cafe, legendary restaurant, and hangout spot in the city. Throughout the episode, he spoke passionately about Bhopal and its warm and welcoming people, sharing stories and memories with great enthusiasm. When Kamiya asked whether he used to go on dates in Bhopal, he replied, ‘’Haan, main date pe toh gaya hi hu Bhopal mein.’’ He reminisced about dating during his teenage days in Bhopal, and laughingly said, ‘’Practice toh karni padti hain. Pehle Ranji khelte hain fir…’’
He used to go on dates at CCD in Bittan Market and shared that they couldn’t visit popular or legendary spots because there was always a chance of running into someone they knew, a family member or a friend. It was just like the typical dating scene in any Indian desi family. He said, ‘’Kafi chota sheher hai Bhopal, toh aapko dekh ke jana padta tha dates pe. Hum aisi jagah pe date pe jate the ki jaha gharwalon ke aane ka chances bohot kam hai.’’ When Kamiya asked how he managed to go on dates despite being in a boys’ school, he replied, ‘’Lekin sheher to coed haina.’’ There wasn’t a dull moment with the comedian as he kept on entertaining with his sarcasm.
