Our latest Sunday Brunch episode took us to Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, and introducing us to the Bhopali culture is the city’s own comedian, Aaditya ‘Kullu’ Kulshreshtha. Our Editor-in-Chief, Kamiya Jani was introduced to Bhopal’s iconic eateries and bustling gullies by Kullu, who candidly shared nostalgic moments, childhood anecdotes and more. He also revealed his marriage plans to Kamiya, and the only thing he is waiting for.
Kullu Takes Kamiya Jani To Bhopal’s Iconic Manohar Dairy
Part of the ‘Kullu itinerary’ in Bhopal was Manohar Dairy. Running since 1970, the iconic establishment which started off as a dairy and mithai shop, is now a full fledged restaurant. Kullu took Kamiya for a hearty Sunday Brunch, where the duo devoured creamy Dahi Puri, paneer-stuffed Chole Bhature, and bite-sized Matar Kachori. Kullu explained that food is the hero at Manohar Dairy, and that’s why this place is so iconic.
The comedian initially brought up the topic of marriage by sharing that Manohar Dairy is a venue that brings families together to meet arranged marriage prospects. Striking while the iron is hot, Kamiya asked Kullu about his marriage plans. “Shaadi toh karni hai (I want to get married),” he said.

The Comedian Shared His Marriage Plans
“Abhi toh bas intezaar hai ( I’m just waiting),” he adds. Our Editor-in-Chief prodded him to know what was he waiting for. “Insaan ka, baaki sab ready hai (I’m waiting for the right person, everything else is ready),” the comedian admits candidly. Leaving Kamiya chuckling and even offering to be his wing-woman as they were seated at Manohar Dairy.
What kind of a woman Kullu wants as his future wife? The comedian reveals that he is a person who enjoys the smallest joys in life, so he also desires a partner who finds joy in the smallest of things. On this note, the two tucked into a steaming hot plate of Paneer Chhole Bhature and bit into fiery chillies.
