The Experience
Your three-hour journey is divided into four crucial steps.
- REGISTRATION & TRAINING: When you arrive at the venue, you have to register and fill out the necessary waiver forms during the check-in time. This is followed by a weight check to calculate your BMI. Once the registration process is complete, you will be assigned a tandem instructor and camera flyer to accompany you during your experience. The instructor gives a safety briefing and shows you the best body position for free fall. The next step is strapping on the harness.
- THE FLIGHT: After the initial registration and briefing, staff will escort you to the boarding area, where you will receive a pre-boarding safety check. Once the plane you board rises to 13,000 feet (4,000 m), you can enjoy the breathtaking views of Palm Jumeirah and the skyline. The total time to reach the jumping altitude is approximately 20 minutes.
- THE JUMP: Your tandem skydiving instructor gives a final check, and that’s when the real deal begins. You and your instructor will exit the plane and free fall for nearly 60 seconds, along with your camera flyer. Once you reach 6,000 ft., you’ll have a 4-5 minute parachute, where you can fly past the skyline of the city like a falcon!
- POST LANDING: After landing, the cameraman will interview you to record your reaction after the adrenaline-filled fall. You will then be escorted back to the main building, where you can relax at the café while waiting for your photos and video.
