1. L’ÉCOLE Festival Is Coming To Dubai This February

Get ready to have a great time as this festival, which is happening on February 14 and 15. Taking place at the Dubai Design District, there will be course demonstrations, conversations with jewellery experts, workshops for children, and even an outdoor cinema that will be perfect for visitors. In fact, if you happen to be someone who loves jewellery, the L’ÉCOLE Festival is something you wouldn’t want to mess.

2. dnata Extends Contract With Royal Jordanian

Recently, dnata extended a long-standing partnership with the Royal Jordanian. This extension will see that dnata continues to oversee operations of Jordan Flight Catering Company Ltd. For those who weren’t aware, this is Jordan’s leading in-flight caterer under a long-term contract.

3. Nusuk Platform Introduces 2 New Methods

Recently, the Nusuk platform, which is overseen by the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah introduced two additional methods. These were for the booking and praying and Al-Rawdah Al-Sharif at the Prophet’s Mosque in Madinah. The first option is the instant booking feature and the second method is the waitlist option. The former allows multiple visits throughout the year while the second is a method, which is available when bookings are unavailable so that the user can be notified when the slots become available.

4. 1484 by Puro Wins Fine Dining Restaurant Northern Emirates Award

1484 by Puro is all set to take dining to a new level under the newly-appointed head, chef of RAK Leisure Restaurants, Chef Mitchell Homan. In fact, this comes at a time when the restaurant was named the Fine Dining Restaurant Northern Emirates at the Good Food Middle East Awards 2024. For those who aren’t aware, this restaurant is known for its top-notch culinary experiences and is the highest dining destination in the UAE.

5. Samosa Factory Shut Down In Jeddah

Recently an unlicensed facility in the Al Waha neighbourhood Jeddah was shut down. This falls in the Umm Al Salam Municipality and the facility was producing samosa sheets illegally. In fact, other Ramadan delicacies were also being produced in unsanitary conditions. As a result, 2.7 tonnes of unsafe food products were confiscated and destroyed.
