Abu Dhabi’s Department of Municipality and Transport has revised penalties for littering in the emirate. Yes, the authority has revealed on Instagram that it has announced a fine that would be imposed on such violations. Yes, the list of new penalties includes a fine of AED4000, which would be applicable on repeated offences. It includes discarding cigarette butts outside designated containers, disposal of personal waste, and even disposal or leaving of waste in non-designated areas.
2. FIFA World Cup In Saudi Arabia To Be Halal
It was announced that no boozy drinks will be served at the 2034 FIFA World Cup. For those who weren’t aware, Saudi Arabia is hosting the 2034 FIFA World Cup and now, it will be a halal event.
3. HH Sheikh Ahmed Bin Mohammed Inaugurates Dubai International Boat Show
His Highness Sheikh Ahmed Bin Mohammed inaugurated the 31st Dubai International Boat Show. This is happening at the Dubai Harbour and is being organised by the Dubai World Trade Centre. Bringing together more than 1000 global brands, these are from 60 countries. They will be showcasing 200 yachts and watercraft alongside a diverse range of products. In fact, the event is expected to draw 30,000 visitors!
4. Video Of Lion In A Car In Dubai Goes Viral
A video on X has gone viral, which showcases a man driving with his lion in the backseat. The lion is seen casually looking out of the window as he yawns and looks at the vehicles passing by. At the time of writing this article, the video has already gained 11 million views with over 1000 comments.

5. Sharjah Municipality Accepting Application For Late-Night Businesses
Ahead of Ramadan 2025, Sharjah Municipality has now started to accept applications for late-night business to work after midnight.
