In a heartwarming video, a little boy is seen distributing bottles of water among street vendors to help them beat the scorching summer heat. IAS officer Awanish Sharan shared the video on Twitter. The kind deed of the child is leaving the internet in awe. In the short clip, we see him giving water bottles to flower sellers and other street vendors. India is experiencing one of the hottest summers this year. Temperatures in cities like Delhi are rising above 42°C. While many are staying indoors or working inside air-conditioned offices, street vendors are toiling all throughout the day withstanding the heatwave.

Through his simple deed, he is not only melting our hearts but also reminding us to be generous towards those who work under the sun in the sweltering summer. Water is of prime importance now to keep the body hydrated. Even Zomato reminds us now to give a glass of water to the delivery guy when we order food during the day. These little deeds can go a long way in making a huge difference.

Remember to offer a glass of water to everybody who comes to your house during the day, whether it’s a food delivery agent, an electrician, a parlour lady, a cleaner, or anyone else. As summer isn’t really giving us any respite even when we are indoors.
