Londoners Are Getting A New Modern Art Museum Called Moco At Oxford Street; Here’s All About It

Moco, which stands for Modern Contemporary, is a famous museum chain that showcases pieces from giants like Banksy, Yayoi Kusama, Jean-Michel Basquiat, and more! It is now opening a new modern art museum in London! Here is all you need to know.

New Modern Art Museum, Moco, To Come To London

According to an article recently published by Time Out London, this new chapter of Moco is opening in a building on Oxford Street. It will take over a building built in the 1920s and has three floors. Once ready, the three floors will house some of the most expensive and famous pieces that modern art has to offer.

In addition to showcasing pieces by artists like Kaws, Banksy, and more, the museum will also focus on pop art, graffiti art, and even NFTs. The article also mentions that the names of the pieces by said artists that will be showcased at the museum have not been specified.

Speaking of Oxford Street, the article states that shops have been closing one after another due to low footfall and rising rents.

About Moco’s Other Chapters

Moco also has chapters in Barcelona and Amsterdam. The entry fee for the Barcelona chapter is €14.95 (₹1,312). For the one in Amsterdam, it is €21.85 (₹1,918). The one in London will also have an entry fee but the exact price has not been revealed yet.
