  • The first step to booking tatkal tickets during Holi is to register on the IRCTC website. Click on the website and add your details such as your contact number and email address to register.

  • Tap on the option named “Plan My Journey”.
  • Fill in all the details such as the date of travelling and both the stations. You will see a tab of trains popping up.
  • Then click on the Tatkal quota.
  • Check availability and then choose your preferred train.
  • The next step is to click on the “Book Now” option.
  • After clicking on “Book Now” a page of ticket reservations will come on the screen.
  • Make sure to add all the necessary details of the passengers such as name, age, and more properly.
  • Add the verification code and then the contact number for booking and cancellation texts.
  • Then click on the “Next” option.
  • Complete the payment using your preferred mode of payment.
  • Lastly, download the PDF of the ticket.
