At this exhibition, you’ll get to see some of the most important and beautiful manuscripts of these sacred texts. There will be five different sections to explore, each teaching us about the beginnings of these three religions. It will also include their holy writings, and how they spread to different languages and cultures.

The exhibition will also show the amazing work of calligraphers, bookbinders, and artists who used special pigments and beautiful writing to create these sacred books. Some of these books are incredibly beautiful and precious. At the exhibition, there are more than 240 artworks to see. There are also things from special collections in France and Abu Dhabi, like old books, pictures, and art pieces from different countries. But that’s not all! The exhibition also has something new made by an artist called Muhannad Shono. It’s like a big artwork made from threads. It doesn’t just show the art; it also helps you think about how these three religions are connected in a special way.

The “Letters of Light” exhibition was put together by two experts. Laurent Héricher from the Bibliothèque Nationale de France and Dr. Souraya Noujaim from Louvre Abu Dhabi. They are very knowledgeable and played a big part in bringing this unique collection to the exhibition.

This exhibition is a valuable event for the Louvre Abu Dhabi. It shows us not only where these three religions come from but also invites us to think deeply. Even if you don’t follow these religions, it’s a chance to learn and understand more about their shared roots. Overall, the “Letters of Light” exhibition at the Louvre Abu Dhabi is a special opportunity to discover the shared beginnings and rich histories of these three religions.
