Lucknow-Dubai & Jaipur-Dubai Routes Affected By Delayed Air India And SpiceJet Flights! Details Inside

It seems that after a weekend of disrupted flights on the Jaipur-Dubai route, the India-Dubai route has again been hit by delays. Yes, two such routes of Jaipur-Dubai and Lucknow-Dubai saw a delay, wherein hundreds of travellers were affected. Due to operational snags, travellers were left frustrated as they continued to grapple with the recurring deals. Here’s how the Air India Express and SpiceJet flights were affected.

Lucknow-Dubai Air India Express Flight Delayed

An Air India Express flight from Lucknow was cancelled on Monday morning. This came after a technical fault was detected and IX 193. This was scheduled to leave from Lucknow’s Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport at 8:45 AM, but it was later cancelled. It was supposed to carry 160 passengers and eight crew members.

However, as reported by Khaleej Times, the pilot had noticed this issue just as the engines were started. As a result, the airline officials and air traffic control were promptly alerted. Although efforts were made to fix the issue, it couldn’t be resolved. As a result, the flight had to be cancelled! Passengers were given hotels, and others were even offered refunds and assured seats on alternative flights.

Jaipur-Dubai SpiceJet Flight Delayed

Not just Lucknow-Dubai, but even the Jaipur-Dubai route was affected by a delayed flight. SpiceJet SG 57, which was headed to Dubai, was scheduled to take off at 9:30 AM. However, it was delayed by over seven hours, and it eventually departed at 4:30 PM. This was due to the late arrival of inbound aircraft, SG 58. As a result, the flight was delayed by six hours!

Not A Stray Incident Of Delayed Flights

This comes after the same flight, SG 57 from Jaipur to Dubai, had departed at 6:22 AM after it was delayed for around nine hours on Sunday, July 13. As a result, it finally departed at 6:22 PM. This delay left passengers fuming as they were stuck at the airport, waiting to get on with their journey. As a result, passengers virtually left, tired and irate with the delayed flights.

Not too long ago, an Air India Express flight was also delayed on the Jaipur-Dubai sector. Flight IX 195 was running six hours behind schedule on Saturday, July 12, which was basically on the same weekend.
