A family in Lucknow was left highly disappointed after receiving the wrong order from a restaurant in Alambagh. The vegetarian family ordered paneer chilli from a restaurant but ended up receiving chicken chilli instead. The family registered an FIR, and the restaurant owner and the delivery boy have been booked by the police with respect to the complaint. Keep reading to learn the entire story!
Lucknow Veg Family Orders Paneer Chilli
A vegetarian family in Lucknow ordered paneer chilli from a restaurant in Lucknow’s Alambagh. They received chilli chicken instead of their vegetarian order. The order was placed by a popular food delivery giant.
The delivery boy delivered the order and left. The family opened the packet and began to eat it. But the dish tasted odd. In his complaint, Shastri said that at that point he discovered that the restaurant had sent chilli chicken rather than chilli paneer. He also mentioned that his wife had promptly begun throwing up after learning about it.
According to the complainant, his family complained to the food delivery app about receiving non-vegetarian meals, but no resolution was provided. As a result, the complainant filed a police report at the Ashiana police station, accusing the restaurant owner and the delivery boy. (As per Hindustan Times)

Not The First Case
Rakesh Kumar Shastri, an Ashiana resident, filed a complaint, and according to Kshatrapal, SHO, Ashiana, a FIR was filed under the appropriate IPC provisions, and the matter is currently being probed. He claimed that both the delivery boy and the restaurant packed the food without inspecting the contents.
After receiving a complaint about this from the family, police said they arrested the owner of the restaurant in Lucknow and a delivery boy from a well-known internet delivery company.
This is not the first time that such mistakes have taken place. A woman had ordered a vegetarian burger but ended up receiving a chicken burger. She asked the restaurant to release a public apology for their mistake on X (formerly Twitter). (As per Hindustan Times)
