This Is Why Meethika Dwivedi Never Considered Moving To Mumbai

In this Tere Gully Mein episode, Lucknowi flavours rule. And who better to talk about all things Lucknow than Meethika Dwivedi, aka The Sound Blaze? The viral content creator graciously took us around the winding yet buzzing gullies of Lucknow, where we gorged on basket chaat, sipped thandai and even refreshed our palates with paan. While chatting with us, Meethika Dwivedi shared why she never considered shifting to Mumbai.

Meethika Dwivedi Reveals Why She Never Shifted To Mumbai

While walking along the stunning Gomti Riverfront Park in Lucknow, we asked Meethika Dwivedi if she ever thought about shifting to Mumbai. “Nahin. Lucknow humein bada hi shaant aur bada hi apna sa lagta hai.” ( No, Lucknow is a very peaceful place that feels like home.) She added, “Mumbai humein bada hi fast lagta hai. Har aadmi jaldi se ghar pahunchna chahta hai, kaam karna chahta hai.” (I find Mumbai to be a very fast city where everyone is rushing for home and work.)

Meethika observed that people in Mumbai are hustling to pay the steep rents. The content creator preferred Lucknow as her place of residence, as she finds the city to be peaceful and tension-free. Moreover, the people in Lucknow are warm and welcoming, believes Meethika. She recollected a time when she stayed in Mumbai for three months. That’s when she heard a person randomly saying, “Bahut kantap aa raha hai.” Overjoyed, Meethika could instantly identify a fellow Lucknowite from a crowd.

She Is Grateful That Her Life Got Easier

When we asked the content creator when she felt her life had changed for the better, she had a very humble answer. Meethika Dwivedi said, “Humare liye life badli nahin, par bhagwan ki kripa se aasan ho gayi.” (My life didn’t change. Rather, thanks to God’s blessings, it got easier.) Once she started creating content, Meethika shared that her life became easier, as she didn’t have to shift to a different city to earn well. While staying in her home town, she could be successful enough to earn well, buy a car and even a home.
