Lufthansa is very soon making a grand debut with an all-new airline named “City Airlines”. Based in Munich, this newest addition will be launched sometime around the middle of 2023. The flight services will be operational regionally in Europe. City Airlines will be seen joining hands with Lufthansa and Lufthansa CityLine for this grand launch in the aviation industry. Lufthansa Group Is All Set To Start A Munich-Based City Airlines
City Airlines was founded last year under a project called “CityLine 2.0”. The new coordination and launch of Lufthansa are going to be a major influence in improving the domestic and regional air connectivity in Europe. There are many plans and proposals to grow the regional route network of the airline in Europe and one of the steps is to operate the flights on short and medium-haul routes. Also, the airline will run the Airbus jets.

Not a specific date of launch has been announced by Lufthansa yet. It is expected that the world will see City Airlines operating very soon as the company is already on the lookout for skilled employees to join them on this all-new journey, as reported by Simple Flying.
What Can Be Expected From This New Airline?
- It is expected that City Airlines will operate flights on an Airbus fleet.
- As per a report by Aviator, there are chances that this all-Airbus fleet will have the Airbus A319 model.
- This flight model can accommodate about 160 flyers.
- City Airlines might get these A319 from the Lufthansa, as reported by Air Data News.

Lufthansa Group took to its official website to share that the airline is excited and thrilled to operate flights daily from its home base in Munich. They are launching flights to both cities of Europe and also to the remote corners of the continent. The airline also shared how it is combining the quality of Lufthansa and the experience of Lufthansa CityLine with the dynamism of a new young company.
