Date And Time Of The First Lunar Eclipse Of 2024:
As mentioned earlier, the date of the eclipse is March 25. It is aligning with the date of Holi festivities in India. Coming to the beginning of the Chandra Grahan and its ending time, it will start at 12:53 AM EDT which is 10:23 AM IST in India, according to a report by Space.com. It will end at 3:12 AM EDT which is 3:02 PM on March 25. The penumbral eclipse will continue for 4 hours and 39 minutes.

A report by timeanddate.com revealed that the Penumbral Lunar eclipse will be visible in Africa, Antarctica, Australia, many parts of Europe (England, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, and more), North/East Asia, the Arctic, the Atlantic, and the Pacific. But it will not be visible in India.
In 2024, there will be a total of four eclipses; 2 solar and 2 lunar. And among these four, the date for the next lunar eclipse is September 18, 2024. According to the information provided by NASA, the second lunar eclipse of this year will only be visible in Africa, America, and Europe.
