Madhavan & Kamiya Jani Relish Delicious Brekkie Together; Tiramisu Toast, Avo Toast & More On Menu

We began one of our Power Breakfast episodes at Shelter By Javaphile Cafe, Mumbai with the amazing R. Madhavan. Our Editor-in-Chief, Kamiya Jani, met with the ‘Shaitaan’ actor to discuss his healthy lifestyle, eating practices, restaurant recommendations, and more. The continuous conversations were combined with an array of nutritious breakfast items. Check out the entire food spread revealed below.

Breakfast With R. Madhavan At Shelter By Javaphile Cafe

We delved into R. Madhavan’s morning routine and his favourite South Indian brekkie options. The breakfast in this episode was nothing like his typical breakfast and he relished it wholeheartedly. The delicious-looking food items were sourdough poha, kanji, avocado toast, beetroot thecha toast, tiramisu french toast, a probiotic smoothie bowl, and hummus salad.

Seeing the massive spread before him, Madhavan asked Kamiya whether it was just for the two of them or more. We assured him that it was just them as this was not a regular breakfast, it was a “Power Breakfast”. Our guest acknowledged it and dug into the kanji bowl and a piece of avocado toast before revealing that his appetite had drastically reduced due to modifications in his eating patterns.

Dining Only When He Is Hungry?

The actor shared that in recent years, he has listened to his body and instead of eating food at a stipulated time, he eats when he is famished. He believes food is only for satiating hunger. Madhavan avoids eating just because one is supposed to have lunch or dinner at a specified time.

He further added, “When food is not the highlight of the day, then you end up just nourishing yourself.” He is rather conscious of his eating habits and has drastically observed changes in his weight and lifestyle. Our guest told us that he follows his instincts and lets his body decide when to eat rather than the clock on the wall.

Madhavan, this seems like a great mantra to keep a tab on your health and avoid binge eating or snacking even when you are full.
