A special food court zone has been established in Maha Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj. Devotees can indulge in delicious meals at very pocket-friendly costs. This particular area offers freshly prepared food at affordable prices, starting at just ₹50. According to a report by NDTV, visitors can get special thali costing between ₹50 and ₹200. A lot of tourists are currently visiting this food zone to indulge in yummy meals at Maha Kumbh. Vegetarian food options are available for people of all ages, from kids to elders attending the world’s largest spiritual gathering.

Maha Kumbh Mela 2025 expects to break all records of pilgrim footfall. This year, more than 40 crore devotees are likely to travel to Prayagraj for the religious event till February 26, 2025. A significant number of travellers are visiting this newly organised food zone to purchase meals at reasonable prices.

In conversation with NDTV, a devotee from Kolkata revealed that this place sells a plate of eight puris and vegetables for just ₹50. Eight puris are more than enough for most adults. In fact, two children can satiate their cravings quite well with this meal plate. While eating lunch with his family at the food court zone, he praised and congratulated the central government and the state government for excellent arrangements for the mela. He further added how people are abiding by the rules announced by the government.

In a first, the Uttar Pradesh government established a food court zone at the Maha Kumbh Mela. Interestingly, this special food zone has been opened here for the first time. As of now, about two thousand visitors are exploring this place every day for tasty meals. A crowd of devotees is seen here at all times, highlighting its accessibility, affordability, and popularity.
