SpiceJet Launched Daily Flights To Prayagraj For Maha Kumbh Mela
Recently, the airline announced special daily flight operations from Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Delhi, and Mumbai to Prayagraj. Maha Kumbh Mela is set to commence on January 13 next year and this influenced the decision to initiate direct flights between this holy city in Uttar Pradesh and different parts of India. The celebrations are slated to continue till February 28, 2025.
To meet the demands of pilgrims planning to travel to Prayagraj during this time of the year, SpiceJet will operate daily flights from January 12 to February 28. The aim is to offer enhanced travel experiences and better air connectivity to everyone ready to be a part of the Kumbh Mela and indulge in spiritual experiences. Now, SpiceJet is the only airline set to depart from Ahmedabad Airport and land in Prayagraj directly, according to a report by The Financial Express.

Here’s All You Need To Know About The Flight Timings
Pilgrims will have the choice to select their flights bound for Prayagraj from Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Delhi, and Mumbai at any time of the day. Operations will continue in the morning, afternoon, and evening.
- Flight SG 655 will take off from Ahmedabad at 8:10 AM. Travellers will reach Prayagraj by 9:55 AM.
- To travel from Prayagraj to Ahmedabad, SG 658 will take off at 4:30 PM.
- Bengaluru-Prayagraj flight SG 661 will take off at 6:25 AM.
- To return to Bengaluru, the flight from Prayagraj will leave at 2:10 PM.
- Pilgrims from Delhi will begin the journey to Prayagraj at 11:55 AM on flight SG 663.
- Prayagraj-Delhi flight SG 662 will depart at 9:55 AM.
- Flight SG 657 will depart from Mumbai at 1:40 PM and land in Prayagraj at 3:50 PM.
- Passengers will board flight SG 656 from Prayagraj at 10:30 AM and reach Mumbai by 12:50 PM.
