Make Malaika Arora’s Paneer Thecha At Home
Malaika Arora recently opened a beautiful restaurant in Bandra with her son, Arhaan Khan. With a chic and rustic feel and a menu that will have to drooling, this is the coolest spot in town. Malaika revealed that despite the generation gap between her and her son, she truly appreciates the sincerity with which he took upon this project and also values everything he brings to the table.
To this, Kamiya Jani asked her what she was bringing from the restaurant’s kitchen to their table, as we just couldn’t wait to relish everything delicious.
From Malabar prawn curry and peri-peri banana fries to podi chutney maki roll, everything looked incredibly appetising. However, what caught our eye and tastebuds instantly was Paneer Thecha. Malaika Arora revealed that this dish is a staple in her home and we definitely wanted the recipe.
Believe it or not, it is the simplest thing ever! Malaika shared that she first prepares Maharashtrian Thecha with dry roasted garlic cloves, peanuts and chillis and then coarsely grinds them with coriander leaves and stems and some salt. Next, she coats the paneer cubes in thecha and pan-fries them in very little oil. We definitely cannot wait to try this at home; can you?

51 years old and still glowing like a 30-year-old, Malaika Arora is a very energetic person. We were curious to know what keeps her feeling so active. Malaika believes that lifestyle plays a huge role in how a person feels physically. She shared that she is very particular about her routine and diet and doesn’t compromise with what she eats or what time she wakes up or goes to sleep. She also added that such discipline is essential for a lasting career in her industry.
