On this episode of Sunday Brunch, we went to Malaika Arora’s new restaurant, The Scarlett House, in Bandra! We chatted with her on a number of topics ranging from her college days, her current daily routine and memories from some of her most iconic shoots. We also took a brief stroll down her memory lane which gave us some fascinating insights into her past! Malaika Arora’s Ankle Was Supposed To Be Tied To The Train In Chaiyya Chaiyya
Malaika Arora turned out to be an absolute delight to talk to. While taking a short walk down her memory lane, she revealed some fascinating trivia about the BTS of Chaiyya Chaiyya. She revealed that her leg was initially tied to the train!
Yes, you read that right! Because the train was moving so much and because Malaika was quite light-weight, they first had her tied to the train so that she wouldn’t fall off. However, her leg being tied proved to be quite a hindrance to her dance routine.
The wire kept gnawing at her feet and she couldn’t dance properly. Finally, she got sick of it and she had it removed. And well, after that, her performance was so iconic that it made history!
Malaika Arora Starts Her Day With Water Therapy
While enjoying some delicious food, we asked her about her daily routine. After all, we wanted to know how Malaika looks like a 30-YO when she is over 50. She said that she wakes up around 7 every day. She then does her gratitude prayers and starts her water therapy.
Now, if you wanna look like Malaika, you better be taking notes! Her water therapy comprises different shots of soaked and herbed water. There’s jeera water, haldi water and other similar shots. After that, she has a glass of warm water with a slice of lemon.
Following this is her daily green juice. Honestly, no wonder her skin glows! She’s clearly well-hydrated!
