The Secret Behind Malavika Mohanan’s Long Hair And Flawless Skin

At Malavika Mohanan’s house, a traditional Malayali meal awaited us. The spread was filled with meen curry (fish curry), Nadan Kozhi curry (chicken curry), fish fry, Kerala brown rice, Appam, Puri, Raita, and of course, Sambar. Before we indulged in the meal, we played a game with Malavika, where she drew the dishes, and we had to guess what they were.

As soon as Kamiya Jani sat down to eat in front of Malavika, she couldn’t help but notice her long, luscious hair and glowing skin. Naturally, she was curious to know if the secret behind them was her diet or something specific that Malavika does. Malavika instantly credited her good genes but also believes that fish and coconut in her diet play a significant role in keeping her nails, skin, hair, and everything else healthy.

Now, it was time to dive into the scrumptious spread before us. Malavika Mohanan shared that the entire meal and the recipes used at her home are from her hometown, Payyanur, near Kannur, in Kerala. The Sambar in front of us was thicker than what we usually find in most restaurants in North India. She explained that the Sambar recipe is unique. Her mother got the recipe from a traditional Sadya maker. Sadya is a traditional Kerala feast enjoyed on special occasions like Malayali weddings.

Further into the episode, Malavika Mohanan shared an incident where she received a call from superstar Rajinikanth. To find out more, watch the full video on the Curly Tales YouTube channel right away!
