When actor Malavika Mohanan invited our Editor-in-Chief Kamiya Jani for a traditional Malayali meal at her home in Mumbai, Kamiya couldn’t resist! Prepared by Malavika’s mother, a lavish yet homely spread was laid out in front of Kamiya, where she noshed her plate empty. During the chat, Malavika Mohanan shared her experience of working with Prabhas on their upcoming horror-comedy film The Raja Saab.
Malavika Mohanan Says Prabhas Is “Fun To Work With”
While dining and chatting with Kamiya Jani, Malavika Mohanan shared that she has been spending a lot of time in Hyderabad as she is filming The Raja Saab, her Telugu debut film. “I’m very excited because it’s also a fun genre, a horror romantic comedy. It’s a genre I haven’t done before,” says the actress excitedly. Furthermore, she says, “Prabhas is super fun to work with. He is chill.”
Kamiya prodded if she felt intimidated working with the superstar. Malavika admits to being a massive Baahubali fan. Ever since she watched the films, she had a dream to work with Prabhas. She revealed that director Prashanth Neel called her for a role in Salaar. But she wasn’t able to do the film. After a few months, she received a call for another Prabhas film The Raja Saab. So, Malavika believes her Telugu debut was destined to be with Prabhas.

She Misses Her Family During Shoot In Hyderabad
Since she is shooting in Hyderabad for long periods, she misses her family and the home-cooked food. There are times she calls her family to join in her Hyderabad but they find it very boring to be on set especially for non-participants. Dining with Malavika Mohanan felt like a journey to Kerala revolving around authentic coastal flavours. From Nadan Kozhi Curry, Meen Curry, Kerala Brown Rice to Appam, all prepared by her mother, Malavika treated Kamiya to lip-smacking delicacies.
