Man Books Vande Bharat Ticket But Another Train Arrives With Clogged Toilet & Pathetic Services

Travelling on a Vande Bharat Express is surely one of the most fascinating train journeys in India at the moment. Many passengers are very excited to complete a journey on these new trains passing through different states in India. Mostly, we have heard great reviews from passengers after travelling on these trains. But the recent experience of a passenger booking a Vande Bharat train is quite different. While he was excited to travel on this express, he realised that the train has been changed completely. Here’s what actually happened!

Passenger Had To Travel In Another Train Instead Of Vande Bharat Express

Twitter user Sidhharth Pandey (@VishalG18804669) took to the microblogging site to share about his recent horrible experience. He claims that he bought a ticket for Vande Bharat Express but was shocked to see no Vande Bharat train arriving at the station.

He shared some videos of the train and stated in the caption that “washrooms are pathetic and services are worst”. We can see in the video that the toilet is completely clogged and in bad condition. Sidhharth paid the exact amount of a Vande Bharat ticket but had to travel on some other train. Also, he added that it was train no- 22439 and he faced this issue on 10 June 2023, about a week before.

He tagged Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, the official Twitter account of IRCTC, and PMO India to raise his concern and address this issue.

It Was The Tejas Express!

In the next tweet, Sidhharth stated that it was the Tejas Express. He booked his ticket for Vande Bharat only but the train got changed to Tejas.

The Official Twitter Account for support to RailUsers @RailwaySeva replied to the tweet and stated that they have escalated the incident to the concerned official of DRM Delhi Northern Railway for necessary action.

Have you ever travelled on any Vande Bharat Express in India? If yes, how was your experience? Also, have you ever faced an incident where your train got changed completely and you got to know about it after the train arrived at the platform?
