His videos received a lot of flak and a little appreciation. Now he is inspiring other vendors to make more such experiments using the summer seasonal fruit. Video Shows A Street Food Vendor Cooking Mango Momos
Content creator Made For Foodie (@madeforfoodie) shared an Instagram reel of a street food vendor making this experiment with mango, momos, and Maaza.
Gone are those days when street food meant tasting local flavours and famous dishes of a place. These days, most street food sellers are trying new experiments and making new recipes to garner attention. Well, they are indeed getting success in becoming the talk of the town. However, we doubt about the taste of their preparations.
The food blogger recorded the entire recipe for cooking mango momos and showed all the unusual ingredients that the man used for this preparation. First, he deep-fried pre-made momos. Once done, he began preparing the creamy sauce. For this, he cooked onions, carrots, and capsicum slices in butter.
After some time, he poured Maaza and added ripe mango pieces. Next, he added red chilli powder, jeera powder, cream, and chilli flakes. Lastly, he added fried momos and tossed them properly in the mango and Maaza sauce. He served momos on a plate and garnished the dish with cream on top.

Understandably Netizens Do Not Like The Experiment
Quite expectedly, no one is really approving of the idea of cooking momos in a gravy of mango and maaza. This unusual combination triggered Instagrammers to voice their opinions in the reel’s comments. Most reactions show how Netizens think this bizarre recipe of mango momos is unappetising.
A Netizen commented, “Bas yahi reh gaya tha dekhna.” Another comment read, “Satya nash kardia momos ka.” Taking to the comment section, an Instagrammer wrote, “Master chef me nahi jail zrur jaenge koi bimar hua toh.” Someone requested, “Mere momos ke sath aisa mat karo please.” Another user called it “Jaanleva momos” and there are more such responses under the Instagram reel.
