Navi Mumbai-based tattoo artist, Mahesh Chavan took to Instagram to share a video of a man getting Ratan Tata’s face tattooed on his chest. The video shows Mahesh working on the tattoo and talking to the man about the reason behind the tattoo. In the caption, he added, “India has lost a legend.”

The man in the video narrates how his friend was diagnosed with cancer a few years back. He recollects how they visited big hospitals but the exorbitant medical bills and lack of financial help was a cause of worry for them. Someone then advised them to seek help from Tata Trusts and the organisation offered them free medical assistance. This incident had a life-changing impact on the man.

His friend has since recovered and the man went on to express his admiration for the countless lives saved by the Tata Trusts. This experience has inspired the man to follow the ethics of Ratan Tata and he even called him a ‘real-life God’. The tattoo, he believes, is a small tribute to the late philanthropist and industrialist’s life and principles.
