Passengers often take to social media platforms to complain about poor services by airlines and unfortunately, the number of such incidents is on the rise. This time, an IndiGo passenger raised concerns about the airline not displaying delayed flight status.
Passenger Ranted As IndiGo Did Not Update Delayed Flight Status
Taking to X, Nixep Dharod (@dharodnixep) shared about this major inconvenience that he noticed after a scheduled flight faced a delay.

Recently, IndiGo flight 6E 5295 was delayed. Though there was a delay, no real-time update regarding the plane was specified on the flight information display system at the Kempegowda International Airport. Flight 6E 5295 takes passengers from Bengaluru to Mumbai. “It’s 2:25 AM and after the delay of flight 6E 5295 to 2:25 AM, it’s still not updated”, shared Nixep Dharod.
Quite understandably, passengers were waiting to know the present updates. However, there was no one to assist or respond.

Sharing a picture of the flight information display system about 11 minutes later, he said that IndiGo did not share any clarification. People were waiting to get a response from the airlne. Alas, they had to wait for more time without any definite details.

Next, the delayed flight was rescheduled at 3 AM. Though the departure timing changed to 3 AM, it was already 3 AM with everyone waiting to board the aircraft.

IndiGo responded to the X user’s thread of X posts and complaints. The airline replied stating that ATC congestion in Mumbai impacted the flight operations and delayed it. The congestion in Mumbai resulted in a “ripple effect causing further delay due to operational reasons”, shared IndiGo.
