In Bengaluru, one may occasionally have to sit through traffic for longer than two hours. The city’s traffic situation has often led to humorous incidents. Recently, a resident shared an unusual incident on social media platform X, where he ordered a Swiggy delivery in the middle of a traffic jam and shared photos, causing a surge of reactions and humour online.

X User Orders Food On Swiggy Amid Traffic

Bengaluru resident Arpit Arora (@speakingofarpit), an X user, described his experience of being trapped in traffic for almost two hours. He decided to order dinner from his car, expecting a long wait. However, the order arrived within 10 minutes, despite the unchanging traffic. In his post, he mentioned that the quintessential Bengaluru experience is ordering dinner from your car and having it delivered in 10 minutes after being trapped in traffic for almost two hours.

The user’s post struck a chord with Bengaluru locals, receiving over 176k views and a tonne of comments. In reaction to this amusing tweet, Swiggy changed its resume and nicknamed itself “Bolt” for delivering as quickly as Usain Bolt. Check out their new CV.
