Abu Dhabi is always trying to do something for the betterment of the people living in the emirate. And recently, the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, which is headed by His Highness Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, there’s something quite important for the people. Yes, he’s the Chairman of Abu Dhabi Executive Council, the Department of Community Development – Abu Dhabi and launched the family growth programme.

Emirati Family Growth Initiative In Abu Dhabi

A part of the Abu Dhabi family well-being strategy, His Highness Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan launched the Emirati Family Growth Initiative. Including six fantastic initiatives for supporting UAE nationals to marry and raise children, this will help them to build and grow families. According to a report by the Abu Dhabi media office, it was reviewed that This initiative will also contribute to family and societal cohesion.

In case you’re wondering about the initiatives, there are six of them for supporting the UAE nationals. With the aim of enhancing this family’s quality of life, these goals extend to 2028.

These initiatives are as follows –

Facilitated Marriage Loan Initiative
Maternity Leave Support For Women Working In Private Sector Initiative
Home Visit Service Initiative
Rental Assistance For Newly Weds
Extending House Loan Repayment Period Initiative
Loan Partial Deduction Initiative

In case you’re wondering, Rental Assistance for Newly Weds offers temporary housing to newly married couples. While the Extending House Loan Repayment Period Initiative is for exempting a percentage of the house loan amount for each additional child that is born in the family, which starts from the fourth to the sixth within specific criteria and conditions. Finally, it’s worth mentioning that DCD aims to strengthen family cohesion and create a more prosperous society through these efforts.
