Maya Bazaar, Bengaluru: Largest LGBTQIA+ Festival In India
Taking place at the Jayamahal Palace Hotel Grounds, it will go on for two days — September 28, 2024, and September 29, 2024. This year, India’s latest LGBTQIA+ festival is aiming to expand its reach to Dalit, Bahujan, and Adivasi or DBA communities.
What is more, it will also be open for pets. Yes, you read that right The festival will have a dedicated play area where your furry friends can let loose. As for you, there will be more than 150 stalls owned by queer-owned, women-owned and ally-owned businesses.
Other Important Details To Know About This Queer Festival
If that is not enough there will also be a number of live performances by a wide array of queer artists. From poetry to music and even comedy, Maya Bazaar has something for everyone. If you’re more intellectually inclined, there will also be lively panel discussions on ‘Pride Meets Purpose.’
Maya Khaya and Maya Bar will have lip-smacking delicacies and intoxicating drinks so that after all the lively stalls and discussions, you can get some refreshments and head back for a second round. So mark your calendars and grab your friends! Maya Bazaar is the place to be!
