McDonald’s In Turkey Is Selling ‘Crisp’y French Fries
There aren’t many differences between the Turkish and American McDonald’s menus. However, one fascinating change adds a unique variety of fries to the menu that isn’t found anywhere else in the world.
The new crinkle French fries, which look like thick, crinkle-cut potato chips, are a startling addition to McDonald’s Turkey’s menu item display.
Compared to McDonald’s other international menu items, the fries struck out as particularly distinctive. The defunct “Miami Fries” from McDonald’s Italy, which were compared to ridge-cut potato chips in appearance, may be the food item that most closely resembles them.

Fries Not So Usual Shape!
The distinctive fries in Turkey are in no way shaped like a French fry. It also doesn’t quite compare to the waffle fries that are offered on several other worldwide McDonald’s menus. The crinkle fries are the most reminiscent of the kind of homemade potato chip you might prepare or get from a classy burger restaurant.
Turkish McDonald’s also sells traditional McDonald’s fries and onion rings, so perhaps the new item is not as well-liked as existing alternatives. We don’t sure if this relatively recent addition will remain in Turkey or if it will expand there as well. Furthermore, it appears doubtful that the fry will compete with the regional food that Turkey has to offer outside of the golden arches. For the time being, if you wish to taste these unique fries, fly to Istanbul.
