Medha Shankr Has Great Cooking Skills; Here’s All The Yummy Dishes She Can Cook

The ‘12th Fail’ actor, Medha Shankr, joined Kamiya Jani, our Editor-in-Chief, at Shifuku for this exciting episode of Sunday Brunch. We caught up with the stunning actor on food, the Delhi v/s Mumbai debate, her acting career and more. While we largely bonded over food and ate delectable food at Shifuku, we couldn’t help but ask whether Medha Shankr could cook or not. Turns out, she does cook and prepare these dishes frequently.

Medha Shankr Can Cook These Dishes

It was time for the amazing brunching session at Shifuku by Curly Tales. Plates of dim sums, noodles, salad, blue pea rice and more. While they indulged in the delish food items, Kamiya asked Medha Shankr whether she was interested in cooking and if yes, then what dishes she cooked. She revealed that she does basic cooking and is indeed a great one.

Medha has cooked rajma, chicken, paneer bhurji, egg bhurji, roti and paratha. She said that it is easier to make paratha and it doesn’t require a proper shape as such. Along with that, she highlighted that after turning into an eggitarian, she doesn’t cook or eat chicken but has prepared a meal with it in the past.

Her Thoughts On Mumbai Food

Medha Shankr was born and raised in Noida which is adjacent to Delhi. Having spent most of her life in NCR (National Capital Region of India), she loves Dilli ka khaana. On that note, she shifted to Mumbai for better job prospects in the field of acting. Now, it’s been around seven years since she landed in the City of Dreams.

Kamiya was curious to ask the much-controversial question regarding the debatable food between Mumbai and Delhi. Foodie Medha chuckled out loud and said, “As much as I love Bombay, its food is nowhere in competition with Delhi! So, of course, Delhi, when it comes to food.”
