Kaamya Karthikeyan Is The Youngest Indian To Scale Mount Everest From Nepal Side

We feel extremely proud to share the fantastic accomplishment of this 16-year-old girl. She wrote history by becoming the youngest ever Indian to summit the highest peak in the world from the Nepal side. Also, she currently holds the record for becoming the second-youngest girl in the entire world to scale Mount Everest from the Nepal side.
Kaamya was on this iconic journey with her father, Cdr S Karthikeyan. It was on May 20 when the father-daughter duo completed their exciting journey and reached the highest peak at a height of 8849 metres. Her achievement is exceptional and indeed a dream come true. But her companion, her father surely made this challenging journey more special.

Kaamya’s next mission is to complete the 7 Summits Challenge by climbing the Mount Vinson Massif in Antarctica. A Navy spokesperson recently stated that she plans to join this adventurous journey this December, according to a report by Telegraph India. The teenager dreams of being the youngest girl to complete the 7summits challenge.
