Siddhivinayak Temple is one of Mumbai’s most iconic temples. Devotees from the city, neighbouring places, and far away visit here to offer prayers to Lord Ganesha and seek blessings. In a recent unfortunate turn of events, the Siddhivinayak Temple trust is facing allegations about mice being found in the prasad. After the shocking news about Tirupati laddus, this is yet another controversy about another mandir’s prasad.
Mice Found In Prasad Packets At Mumbai’s Siddhivinayak Temple
Taking to X, Darshan Rana (@yours_darsh) shared images of rats in the Mahaprasad.
Several images and clips of mice in packets of Mahaprasad are making rounds on social media platforms. These viral glimpses highlight small rats in a corner of a crate of prasad at the Siddhivinayak Temple. A viral image shows torn prasad packets. According to a report by News24, mice were also seen inside Mahaprasad Laddu packets. The Siddhivinayak Temple Trust distributes this laddu prasad to devotees and visitors.
Small rats bit and chewed many packets of sweets and prasad at the temple. Seeing the viral videos and hearing about the allegations, the temple Trust decided to seek an investigation regarding the alarming incident. The inspection to look into the truth began already. The temple administration stated that the viral videos on the Internet are not of Mumbai’s Siddhivinayak Temple.
A proper investigation will reveal the actual truth. The findings by the concerned authorities can prove whether these videos of mice on prasad are from Siddhivinayak Temple or any other place. In addition, the Temple Trust is likely to release a press conference regarding this issue.
