Michelin Guide is one of the most sought-after rankings that helps people in visiting recognised restaurants for their food and services. And the third edition of the much-awaited Michelin Guide ceremony is returning to Dubai, this July. Following the massive success of the previous year, this ceremony will be taking place in July.

The Michelin Guide ceremony will be taking place on July 4, Thursday at the One&Only One Za’abeel. A colourful array of diverse culinary experiences, this is a prestigious gathering in the world of gastronomy. Bring together the culinary elite, industry professionals, and food enthusiasts, it will celebrate the exceptional dining scene in the city of Dubai. It’s hardly any secret that Dubai, which is the destination partner, offers a wide variety of cuisines that reflect the taste of about 200 nationalities living in the emirate. Not to mention, this year, five aspects of Dubai will be celebrated.

The Reception Will Be Helmed By 5 Chefs

The latest selection will be announced in a highly anticipated press conference, which will be followed by a premium reception. This will be celebrating the five aspects of diversity, future, dedication, sustainability, and innovation. In fact, the culinary scene will be helmed by five guest chefs four of who are from the 2023 Dubai edition. They are as follows –

Mohamad Orfali will be reimagining Diversity
Masanori Ito will be underlining Sustainability
Thomas Allen will be taking on Future
Saverio Sbaragli will be showcasing Dedication
Anne-Sophie Pic will be demonstrating her take on Innovation

At this point, it’s worth mentioning that in 2023, 90 restaurants were featured in the Michelin Guide Dubai. This is a massive increase from the 69 in the previous edition. Moreover, three restaurants were given 2 Michelin stars, 11 with one Michelin star, three with a green star, 59 Michelin-selected restaurants, and 17 gourmand establishments.
