If you’ve been following Saudi Arabia’s Red Sea news lately, you already know the project has been on a roll. New resorts, new residences, new everything. And now, a very polished newcomer is stepping into the spotlight: Rocco Forte The Red Sea

Rocco Forte Heads To The Red Sea & Here’s What To Expect From The Property

According to Breaking Travel News, the property is set for a 2028 debut and marks the British brand’s very first step into the Middle East and North Africa. It’s a long time coming, and honestly, it suits the Red Sea scene perfectly.

Here’s what we know so far: the resort will feature 60 rooms, along with serviced villas and apartments. The size feels intimate enough to feel personal, but not so small that it feels congested.  The exact location within the broader Red Sea megaproject is still under wraps. No confirmed opening month either. But given the brand’s reputation, this feels like the kind of hotel worth waiting for.

A Heritage Brand With Style

Rocco Forte Hotels has a solid story behind it. Founded in 1996 by Sir Rocco Forte and his sister, Olga Polizzi, the brand has grown into a collection of 15 hotels and retreats across Europe. Think iconic cities like London, Rome, and Munich. Think spas that make you forget your problems. Think restaurants built around local produce, not mass-market menus.

Their design approach leans into character, comfort, and a sense of place. The brand maintains unique features in every property. Also, they are expanding fast, with new properties lined up for Milan, Sardinia, Naples and now Saudi Arabia.

Why The Red Sea Makes Sense For Rocco Forte Hotels

The Red Sea megaproject is shaping up to be one of the world’s hottest new destinations. There’s AMAALA Triple Bay. There are luxury eco-resorts and bold sustainability plans that aim to protect the region’s natural beauty. Rocco Forte entering this market signals two things: the region is ready for top-tier global brands, and the brand itself sees huge long-term value here.
