1. Qatari National ID Authorised by the Ministry of Public Health
The Ministry of Public Health and Qatar have discontinued the health card and in its place. It has adopted the valid national ID for residents. As revealed by The Peninsula, these are to be used in place of health cards. Especially when a person is visiting Primary Health Care Corporation, Hamad Medical Corporation, and other government health sector institutions.
2. Air Arabia Restarts Limited Flights To Several Destinations
Air Arabia announced that it would be operating a limited number of flights to and from the UAE. Passengers can book the available flights through the website, mobile applications or authorised travel agents. Operating on a limited schedule, this would cover a network of 52 global destinations that are across the Middle East, Asia, Africa, and Europe.
3. Holy Kaaba Maintenance Completed
As revealed by the SPA, the General Authority for the Care of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque has announced the completion of the maintenance routine of the holy Kaaba. This has been done in line with the highest engineering and technical standards. Not to mention, this project was carried out under a precise operational plan, which ensures a smooth pilgrim flow without affecting the rituals.
4. Ministry of Hajj & Umrah Emphasises The Requirement Of Official Permit
Ministry of Hajj & Umrah has stressed the importance of the pilgrims needing the official Hajj permit for rituals. Yes, service providers have been asked to inform the pilgrims that they must obtain an official permit in order to perform the Hajj rituals for the year 1447 AH. It should be mentioned that no leniency will be shown if any attempt is made to perform without a permit.

5. UAE Resumes Of School Bus Operations
The UAE announced that school bus operations will resume across all public and private schools. This would begin from Monday, April 20th, and the decision comes after ongoing assessments were carried out by the National Emergency and Crisis Management Authority.
