Coolie frenzy has taken over Dubai! As reported by Gulf News, the Rajinikanth starrer film has gotten fans absolutely excited, since they queued up for late-night shows. In fact, every showtime was turned into a mini celebration, as fans came waving banners and dancing in the lobby. Visuals on X even showed how the celebrations would confuse anyone, making it seem as if they were back in India, but these were indeed visuals from Dubai.

The celebrations aren’t just limited to X, but even on the ground, people were seen singing and dancing in the lobby of the cinemas. Fans were even posting about their experience online. Yes, as shown in the visuals, people were even seen posting pictures of their tickets, showing how they were excited to watch the movie. Some even shared about how their office had closed for the release of the film, on X (formerly Twitter).

Smashing Tamil Cinema Records!
This development comes at a time when the film has shattered all the pre-recorded bookings. Yes, ahead of its August 14th release, the film achieved ₹100 crore in global advanced sales. It also smashed Tamil Cinema records by selling more than 37 crores worth of tickets. This was in India alone! As it happens, the film sold 1.7 million tickets for opening day shows!
