3. Ras Al Khaimah Police Is Ready With A Comprehensive Plan For Eid
Ras Al Khaimah Police has announced that it is completely ready to ensure there is safety and smooth traffic flow. This is for the upcoming Eid al-Fitr holiday, and it is for implementing a comprehensive security and traffic plan. Authorities have also said that the plan includes intensified police and traffic patrols that would be across intersections, tourist destinations, markets, shopping centres, and major internal and external roads.
4. Illegal Firework Trade Busted By Sharjah Police
Sharjah Police have confiscated about 60 tonnes of illegal fireworks. As revealed by the Gulf News, they have arrested individuals who are involved in storing and preparing them for sale. This is a part of an ongoing effort for protecting public safety and curbing dangerous practises.
5. Qatar Airways Issues An Important Notification
Qatar Airways has issued an important notification for those who have bookings between February 28th and April 30th. They have two options available. They can get two complimentary date changes for new travel up to May 31st. Or they can opt for a refund for the unused value of the ticket. They can simply rebook via the Manage Booking section of the website. Or they can simply fill out their online refund application form to request a refund for the unused value of the ticket.
6. Deira Clock Lights Up For Each Celebration
Dubai Municipality has illuminated the historic Deira clock roundabout. This has been done with festive designs and as part of Eid al-Fitr greetings. It is a part of the ‘Eid in Dubai’ campaign that aims to enhance the celebratory atmosphere in the city. 7. The Indian Embassy In Saudi Arabia Issues Notification

Saudi Arabia to the UAE are celebrating Eid al-Fitr on March 20th, Friday. This comes as the Shawwal moon was not sighted in the kingdom on Wednesday, March 18th. As it happens, they are celebrating the festival on Friday, as they also reported not sighting the moon.

His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik has extended Eid al-Fitr greetings to Omani citizens and residents. He wishes for the nation’s continued peace, joy, and prosperity during his greetings. This comes as the country celebrates Eid al-Fitr on Friday, March 20th.
10. Low Pressure System To Affect Oman From Friday Onwards
Civil Aviation Authority has announced that low pressure system is going to affect Oman from Friday onwards. This would bring in thunderstorms and heavy rain.
