Dance Like BLACKPINK Or BTS At This Free K-Pop Workshop In Abu Dhabi

Touted to be the first-ever workshop of its kind in the UAE, it’s absolutely free to attend. Here’s all you need to know about this workshop.

K-Pop Academy In Abu Dhabi

Happening for what’s said to be the first time, a K-pop training workshop is taking place in Abu Dhabi. Taking place from August 20th to 22nd, at Dee Studio, this place will transform into a K-pop Academy. This is coming true as there’s a collaboration happening between the Korean Cultural Centre and Dong-Ah Institute of Media & Arts of South Korea. For those who are wondering, this institute is known for helping train stars from SEVENTEEN and ZEROBASEONE.

Called the K-Pop Academy X DIMA Dream School, as mentioned before, is free to attend. You don’t just get to copy the choreography in front of the mirror, but get a full K-pop trainee treatment. With dance sessions, vocals, and video production, these will be led by actual professors and student artists from DIMA. So you can certainly expect to shake a leg to bangers like I Need You or Jump from the K-Pop industry. In fact, you might get to swing your hips to the songs from the latest flick, K-pop Demon Hunters.

What About The Schedule?

Coming to the workshops for the three days, the schedule is as follows:

August 20 (for youth)

Dance: 1 pm – 3 pm – HUNTR/X and BTS
Vocal: 3 pm – 4:30 pm – HUNTR/X and BTS

August 21 (for adults)

Dance: 1 pm – 3 pm – BLACKPINK
Vocal: 3 pm-4:30 pm – BTS

Friday, August 22 (for kids)

These sessions will focus on performance and video production.

So, basically every day the workshop has been tailored to a different age group. This allows you to indulge in idol life for a few hours. Offering folks a chance to share their passion with people who are the same age.
